Honor Indians Institute introduces the next alternative to the Winnebago, NE Indians school mascot, in honor of Reuben Snake. Reuben Snake served his country as a Green Beret, his tribe as Tribal Chairman, and all Indian people as President of the National Conference of American Indians. In honor of Reuben Snake, we introduce the “WINNEBAGO SNAKES”:
